Life is awesome
There are hellos
But there are goodbyes
Things change
While memories don't.
I learnt that
when you think your life is bad
There are others who are suffering more
and
those who look fine on the outside
are actually trying to be strong
when you look in their eyes
Sometimes
people just want you to care
and to just say you love them
It actually helps
if you take a second to listen,
or maybe say a word or encouragement
or give a hug and wipe their tears
You don't lose anything
if you show that you care
but how many these days,
care only for themselves
and thinking that
those who cry will smile again
How long will it take
for you to see past
the fake smiles and smudged make up?
How long will it take
for you to live in a world
that is not your own?
It takes little energy
to give a smile
or give a hug
It takes nothing but time
for you to listen
for you to care
We do not live alone in this world
And it's about time we act like it
Faith. Hope. Love.
That's all we need to live a life.
